Happy New Year!
Our Advent celebration begins with light in the midst of darkness, the light of a candle, the bright light of a tree. This light beckons us to draw near to the Word of God and to the Word made Flesh in the Eucharist. It leads us also to celebrate the coming of the Light of Lights. May the days of Advent lead us to a bright and joyful celebration of Jesus, Incarnate among us, and to his manifestation to the world in Epiphany.
Blessings to you and yours!
Fr. Robert J. Kropac, Pastor

Your help is needed to collect items for the Cleveland Police Department’s Second District clothing drive for our homeless population. There is a box in the back of the church for our donations.
“The Cleveland Police Second District will be teaming up with the community to collect cold weather clothing for our homeless population. Specific items that are most needed are socks, boots, gloves, and thermal underwear for adult men and women. Lightly used laundered items will be accepted. We look forward to your generosity!”
If you missed the lecture on the Prayer Labyrinth, watch the YouTube video (below) of the lecture thanks to George Gates, parishioner and owner of Commercial Sound and Image.
Saturday July 29th is the Fifth Anniversary of our re-opening and we will bless and dedicate our new St. Wendelin statue in the Prayer Garden after mass, followed by a reception. Expect your invitation in the next week’s mail. If you do not receive one, please call the rectory!
Save postage and drop your reply card in the basket during mass.

Meet Fr. Marek Visnovsky, as he speaks about icons which are well known to the Christians of the Eastern Rites. These sacred images can lead you to the appreciation of the church as an icon of Christ, and of yourself as an icon as well. Perfect for Lent, spend time with us at 12 noon or at 7pm on Tuesday, March 21st. Call St. Wendelin Parish at 216.696.1926 for more information.
