3/20 Letter from Fr. Kropac

Dear Parishioners,

It is really difficult that we cannot gather as we usually do here at St. Wendelin. But, we can support one another in prayer, so we are inviting you to share some moments of prayer personally, and via the internet.

We expect that we will be able to bring you abbreviated services during Holy Week from our church, beginning with the opportunity to pick up Palms in the Church parking lot on Palm Sunday….

By next week, we are planning to provide a video of  live Sunday Mass from right here at Saint Wendelin.  In the meanwhile, please take advantage of these web-based opportunities so that we can be of one mind and heart in this way:

Sunday at 7:30pm
LIVE Taize Prayer this Sunday from the St. Mary of the Assumption Chapel at St. Ignatius High School at 7:30pm, click here:

Monday – Friday Daily Mass at 9:30am

Sunday Mass at 6am
The Diocese of Cleveland presents a television Mass at 6 a.m. every Sunday on Fox 8 and at 11:30 a.m. Sundays on Cox Cable channel 45. Beginning the afternoon of March 14, that weekly Mass also can be viewed on the diocesan website dioceseofcleveland.org
Father Robert Marva, OFM, pastor of St. Agnes + Our Lady of Fatima Parish, was the celebrant and homilist for the March 14-15 liturgy.

__________

I am sure we are all praying for everyone’s health and safety in these days, and we should keep in prayer those health care workers and first responders who put themselves at risk while caring for others. Please pray for those who may lose their jobs as a result of this pandemic. There are so many that need prayerful support now.

Please know that I am praying for you each day and look forward to that day when we can gather in thanksgiving in our own beautiful Church!

Please watch your email for further updates.

Peace,

Fr. Robert Kropac
